Hi! I’m Eileen,
I love all things beautiful especially; beauty products, animals, baking and sewing. I want to write about these wonderful things that inspire me and fill me with happiness. You will find that through reading my blog you are hearing about my tales through the eyes of mummy and as a new Vegan.
I would also like to review my experiences of any products or services that I use (and pay for) where I live in St Albans. I really believe in the importance of supporting your local community and businesses as it’s what keeps us all connected and united.
I’m also a massive fan of taking photographs. Now that doesn’t mean I’m any good at it, but anyone that knows me, knows that I can take more pictures in the space of an hour than the average person could take in a month.
I’ve thought about having my own blog for a long time. But the snag was that I didn’t know what I would write about.
I am a massive fan of writing. I get enjoyment from writing something as simple as a shopping list. Creative writing at school for me was like being in Disney World inside my head. There were no boundaries for my thoughts or ideas and putting pen to paper was such a massive buzz.
When I send out greetings cards I like to fill every last bit of space with well wishes and gossip. Sometimes it looks like I’ve signed off the card at least three or four times but there is still so much left to say and there is room left on the paper. I just can’t help myself.
It goes without saying that the driving force behind me setting up this blog is my passion for Tropic Skincare. I have joined a family of 5000 other like-minded ambassadors. I feel incredibly lucky to be sharing in the success of such a wonderful, honest and successful company. It is so flexible and this is a necessity for anything once you become a parent.
Since becoming an ambassador I have become so much more aware of how beauty products are made. It’s really important to me to know what I’m putting on my skin and the fact that its all completely natural and cruelty free makes me really pour my heart and soul into sharing my love of these beautiful products.
I believe that we need to have full awareness of everything that goes into our bodies and that includes what you put on your skin. Products that contain harmful chemicals can enter through your skin; go straight to your bloodstream and circulate throughout your body. Now I’m not medically trained by any stretch of the imagination but that tells me that I need to know exactly what ingredients make up the beauty products that sit on my bathroom shelf.
It really is so refreshing to see all the ingredients of Tropic products written in plain English on the packaging. Ask yourself this – do you know exactly whats inside your favourite beauty products?
I really hope you enjoy my blog and photo’s!
Lots of love,
