Hello Lovely people,
Apart from the fact that I promised you in my first ever Vlog that I would talk about our founding product – The Body Smooth; I figured that with the weather being so glorious, now is the best time to talk about our amazing body polish followed by our scrumptious Body Love Firming Buttercream.
Is it just me but do you only seem to notice your dry skin, (arms & legs) and un-painted toe nails when the sun comes out, as you expose more of your body and your shoes get replaced with sandals and flip flops.
It goes without saying that since I’ve been using Tropic skincare products that I have always had an unhealthy obsession with the complete range. My first love was with the ABC collection, (Cream Cleanser, Spray Toner & Skin Revive Cream) followed very closely with The Body Smooth Refreshing Polish and The Body Love Buttercream.
The Body Smooth retails at £24 and contains the following ingredients; Australian Lemon Myrtle, Golden Jojoba, Macadamia Nut Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Mineral Rich Organic Sea Salts, Rose-hip Oil, Vitamin E, Eucalyptus, Lime, Lemon, Bergamot and Peppermint.
The Body Love retails at £20 and contains the following ingredients; Sea Kelp, Green Algae, Pink Peppercorn Extract, Macadamia Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Organic She Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Hibiscus, Essential Oils of Lemon Myrtle, Bergamot, Lime and Lemon.
I make no apologies when I say that I will probably make reference to Susie Ma’s founding product – The Body Smooth, forever more. I’ve already blogged about this amazing product in January this year – here. THIS is what made Susie £980 in one day in Greenwich market. It was a recipe that she had concocted herself and it was the very first product that she put her name to. Susie was well used to developing natural beauty products as it was part of her upbringing in Cairns, Australia.
I am in awe of this lady for so many reasons. Susie has given me the opportunity, (along with Sir Lord Alan Sugar) to grow my own small business by selling something that I not only love and whole-heartedly believe in; but they are the most amazing natural products I have ever come across and in my 38 years, (nearly 39) I’ve used pretty much every single product on the market. I met Susie for the first time in January this year at a Tropic Road Show and I couldn’t blog quick enough to share my excitement of meeting her and my enthusiasm and pride at being an Ambassador.
An added bonus that day was also meeting a fellow Ambassador – Lara Winsley, (my blind date at The Road Show) who I now class as a friend. I cannot get across in words alone how wonderful it is to be part of such an amazing family. Tropic has sent friendships my way that I would never have otherwise made. Contact me here to chat more about becoming an Ambassador.
I love how fresh everything smells and when I place an order I imagine a chef in a kitchen making my products from scratch! Tropic really is such a unique, honest and caring skincare company. The added bonus of being UK based, so upfront about all the ingredients, best before dates and packaging, is what really sets Tropic apart from other skincare companies. Susie promises to use the most natural, purest derived ingredients in all of her products. It is so refreshing and reassuring to know that when you use any of our products that not only are they safe for your skin, but the ingredients are nourishing and beneficial to you.
As I said in my YouTube Vlog I use The Body Smooth on dry skin. I either stand on a towel beside the bath or I get into the bath and exfoliate all over (not my face) and then wash it off. My skin is SO smooth and I just love the oily residue that remains. For maximum results if you want really soft, supple and glowing skin then follow it up with The Body Love Firming Buttercream.
I like to know each and every ingredient that goes into whatever product I’m using and it didn’t escape my notice that our amazing Body Love Firming Buttercream contains the Hibiscus flower, which is widely compared to The Botox plant! That clearly contributes towards the firming element of this beautifully smelling buttercream.
I also want to mention that this is my 16 month old daughter’s body cream too. She has problematic, Eczema prone skin and using The Body Love regularly, (not on her face) in conjunction with The frangipani Body Wash, Body Pebble and our award winning Tamanu Healing Balm, (used as her nappy cream and on her face and chin to combat teething drool) keeps her skin beautifully smooth and well nourished.
I cannot rave enough about these luxurious products. Treat yourself now or gift someone else and just borrow it!
